On December 11, 2019, Paul Smiths College provided statistics for the 2019 stewards program in Caroga. The first report is for each location and includes counts of invasive species. The second report show traffic hour by hour.
On September 11, 2019, the State of New York’s Office of State Controller approved the Stewards Grant contract. The executed contract is now online at the state website.
On June 14, 2019, the State of New York officially announced the funding of the $60,989 grant to fund stewards at the West Lake boat launch and at the boat wash station across from town hall. The grant was submitted by James McMartin Long, Mike Durkee, and Marcus Harazin at the beginning of 2019.

Resolution #2018-120 formally created a Lakes Management Committee and instructed said committee to create a Lakes Management Plan document.
The Lakes Management Plan (web or pdf) includes a Lakes Inventory Atttachment (pdf).
On February 6, 2019, the Town Board adopted by Resolution #2019-015 the Lakes Management Plan.
On February 6, 2019, the Town Board passed Resolution #2019-016 to apply for the NYS DEC Aquatic Species Grants.
