Please take notice that a Special Meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Caroga will be held on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall located at 1840, State Highway 10, Caroga Lake NY, 12032, Fulton County, NY; to hear all interested parties and citizens regarding the purpose of following application(s): Z2022-04, Owner: Daniel Richardson, 4865 State Highway 29, Johnstown, NY 12095 of the property located at: Vrooman Road, Caroga Lake NY 12032 and identified as parcel SBL#68.17-5-4 for a variance to the Town of Caroga Zoning Ordinance which is in violation of Article 4 Section 1 Paragraph B; No building or structure shall hereinafter be erected, constructed or altered to exceed the dimensional standards of the Zoning District said building or structure is located within. Zoning District LFA requires twenty feet for side yard setbacks and fifty feet for shoreline setbacks. The owner proposes to build an 8×10 foot deck with attached stairs that measure feet by twelve feet. The stairs and deck will be completely inside of the shoreline setback, and due to the size of the side yard the set-backs cannot be met. Anyone wishing to view the application may do so during normal business hours at the Town Clerk's office located in the Municipal Building at 1840 State Highway 10, Caroga Lake, NY 12032. Anyone wishing to comment may do so either personally at the public hearing or by attorney or other represenatative.
