Workshops
Note: All workshops are from 10 am to 3 pm and limited to 12
participants unless otherwise specified.
- Class from 4 pm to 7 pm; limited to 12 parent/child family groups
- $20 registration fee per family group this workshop ONLY
- Kids and Parents/grandparents – sand and stain your own hanging
sign
- Stencil and paint your own figure
- Create your own felted flowers and attach them
- Customize your sign by adding your names
- Pizza and drinks will be provided; Bring $20 for materials
July 18 Basket Weaving – Colleen Mosenthin
- 10 am to 3 pm; limited to 12 participants
- Bring lunch, shears, measuring tape, clothespins, awl, small tub,
pencil and $25.00 for materials
- Come to the Opening Reception June 27th to meet

July 25 Rustic Picture Framing - Tom Healey
- 10 am to 3 pm; class limited to 7
- Bring lunch and $25 for materials
- Bring an 8 X 11 frame to decorate or an interesting wood such as
barn siding, etc.
- Materials will be available if unable to bring them
August 1 Make a Pallet Sign - Shanna Becker, The Art Box,
Canajoharie
- 10 am to 3 pm; limited to 12 participants

Every family will love adding this farmhouse sign to their
décor
- Join together our lumber and add a metal hanger
- Learn to create these fun chalk paint finishes
- Stencil in your letters, including your family name, in a choice
of colors
- Plenty of options for customization to make it your own
- Bring lunch and $30 for materials
August 8 Make Your Own Pillowcase – Phyllis Sanford
- 10 am to 3 pm; class limited to 6
- Love to make presents for family and friends for Christmas or all
year-round?
- Learn how to sew a pillowcase in 3 easy steps
- Bring lunch, $10 for materials and sewing machine and have
fun
Unless otherwise noted, the registration fee for each workshop is
$20.00 for members and $25.00 for non-members. Send your check
(payable to Caroga Historical Museum) for the registration fee
