Short Term Rental Committee Meeting Agenda

Members present:
Chair- Barbara DeLuca – Town Councilman
Anthony Fancher- TOC Code Enforcement and Sanitation Officer
Al Kozakiewicz- TOC Planning Board Chairman
Tor Shekerjian- Confidential Secretary to Supervisor
The STR Committee met Thursday 3/30 from 630 PM to 730 pm. The zoom portion of the meeting was not available due to circumstances beyond out control. I will make every attempt to provide this for the next meeting.
As discussed in the previous meeting, members reviewed the documents distributed and identified key features that would be aligned with our goals and objectives.
Items included definitions of STR, Sanitation; holding tanks vs engineered septic systems, water supply, seasonal vs year round properties, occupancy definitions, parking and garbage pick up. Also the committee discussed enforcement of rules and a noise ordinance.
Chair DeLuca is working on a comprehensive list of rentals in the town of Caroga; many thanks to Karen Dutcher, Heather Scribner and Anthony Fancher for their assistance. I have identified 56 properties so far.

Have a document to present to the Town Board by May meeting or June meeting at the latest. After the document is drafted, the committee will hold informational meetings for the public to learn more about the local law.
