Highlights of the February 6th, 2019 Town Board Work Session
To enhance communications with residents, the Town Board will distribute this newsletter with the “headlines” from the board meetings. Detailed meeting minutes will be posted on the Town website (TownofCaroga.com) on the website’s Minutes page.
This was a special work session for the Town Board to meet deadlines for grant applications. The meeting lasted approximately 12 minutes.
Resolutions/Local Laws Passed:
Lake Management Plan – Approved and adopted the Lakes Management Plan recently developed by the Town Lakes Management Committee.
NYS DEC Invasive Species Grant – Approved the submission of two grant applications to the DEC to fund the operation of the Boat Decontamination and Steward program.
New Snow Plow Truck – Approved a $3,000 snow plow blade upgrade to the International plow truck currently on order. This four part enhanced plow blade has greater utility than a fixed blade.

Monthly Town Board Meeting, Wednesday, February 13th at 7PM at town hall.
Reminders:
Safety Warning – Town snow plow truck drivers are having difficulty seeing pedestrians on Town roads when it is dark. Please wear reflective clothing and know that you may not be visible to snow plow truck drivers in the dark.
Snow Removal - Plowing or depositing snow on or across a road is against the law.
