This special emergency meeting lasted 90 minutes, at Town Hall and via zoom.
Resolutions/Local Laws:
Code Enforcement Office —
Supervisor Horton praised John Duesler’s exemplary work as Caroga’s code officer for the past 4½ years. Mr. Duesler now wishes to resign and help with a transition.
The Town Board authorized the Supervisor to solicit applicants for a certified code officer position on an interim basis (temporary full-time $26 per hour). (5 to 0 vote)
After executive session, approved interim job offer to Anthony Fancher (5 to 0 vote)
Approved health benefits for Code Enforcement Office Clerk (5 to 0 vote)
Approved $8,000 budget transfer (5 to 0 vote)
AO-3650-40 Demolition of Unsafe Buildings decreased from $20,000 to $12,000
AO-3620-10 Code Enforcement Personnel Services increased from $28,000 to $36,000
Fulton County Plowing Contract — Approved snow plowing contract with Fulton County Highway Department, consistent with last year’s contract (5 to 0 vote)
Golf Gift Certificate — Approved golf passes previously authorized for Eccentric Club to be honored until the end of 2021 (5 to 0 vote)
