Zoning Board of Appeals Hearing Notice

Due to the COVID-19 National Emergency, Zoning Board of Appeals Chair Douglas Purcell has declared that the venue for the Public Hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Caroga will be via Conference Call only on August 20, 2020 at 7:00 pm. All attendees may join this meeting via any computer or smartphone with internet access at


Attendees will be able to hear and be heard more clearly if they are able to join the meeting via the above web link. Attendees joining by dialing in will not be heard or hear as clearly as when they join via the web link. The public hearing is for the following application.

Application Number Z2020-05 by Nathan Littauer Hospital, 99 East State Street, Gloversville, NY, is for the property located at 1840 State Highway 10 and formerly identified as parcels 68.9-3-3 and 68.9-3-2 and newly identified as 68.9-3-2.5 formerly in Conservation zoning district, but expected to be Hamlet by the date of this public hearing.

The applicant proposes to build a new 1,350 square foot “Microclinic” adjacent to the Town Hall to replace the Nathan Littauer Hospital clinic currently located inside the Town Hall.

Zoning Ordinance issue is Article 4, Section I(A) front setback.

The above application is open to inspection online at Z2020-05
TownOfCaroga.com/apa/z2020-05_nlh/ and at the Code Office, Town of Caroga Municipal Building, 1840 State Highway 10, Caroga Lake NY 12032. Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board at such hearing.
