Zoning Board of Appeals Hearing Notice

Due to the COVID-19 National Emergency, Zoning Board of Appeals Chair Douglas Purcell has declared that the venue for the Public Hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Caroga will be via Conference Call only on June 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Application Number Z2021-04 by Garski, Lynn, 3474 Woodlands Circle, Macedon, NY 14502, is for the property located at 621 South Shore Road, East Caroga and identified as parcel 83.13-7-5 in Caroga LF-2.5 zoning district, APA Low Intensity land use classification.

The property owner proposes to build a 16 foot by 24 foot garage.

Article 4, Section I, Subsection B; District Regulations governs. A variance to the Zoning Ordinance is needed.

The property owner is asking for the following:

To go over the allowed 10% lot coverage by 511 square feet;
To set the garage 3 feet 4 inches inside of the side yard setback.

The above application is open to inspection online at TownOfCaroga.com/apa/z2021-04_garski/ and at the Code Office, Town of Caroga Municipal Building, 1840 State Highway 10, Caroga Lake NY 12032. Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board at such hearing.
