Zoning Board of Appeals Hearing Notice

Caroga Town Hall, 1840 State Highway 10, on October 19, 2021 at 7:30 pm.

Application Z2021-07 by Brian Franz, 7590 SW 150th St, Palmetto Bay, FL 33158, for a property at 272 Sand Point Road, SBL#52.19-1-7, in Caroga LF-2.5 zoning district, APA Low Intensity land use area classification.

The applicant proposes to demolish and rebuild the existing camp, deck and porch, which are inside of the 75-foot shoreline setback. In rebuilding, the proposed ground coverage within the shoreline setback for this parcel would be increased by 259 square feet.

Zoning Ordinance Article 9, § V(D) and Article 4, § I(B) govern. A variance is needed.

The above application is open for inspection at the Code Office, the Town Clerk’s Office, and at TownOfCaroga.com/apa/z2021-07_franz/ online. Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board at such hearing.
