As a lifetime resident of the Town of Caroga and proponent of controlled growth I feel this proposal is an excellent idea to support the needs of the community. As a career fire safety professional i would like to offer the following suggestions regarding the project. It needs to be noted I have not seen plans -drawings or any other technical documents regarding same- 1) create a year round available water access point at the nearby waterway to be used in case fire suppression needs arise, this is a large structure that may present fire suppression challenges. 2) provide 360 access around the structure with year round access to accommodate fire apparatus.Town of Caroga, as a reminder I have not seen a conceptual layout -which may already include this comment. The Ziemann family has an excellent track record supporting the town of Caroga and I would look forward to any proposal they put forth !
