Owner Desires to: add a deck to a non-conforming structure. Road and lakefront variances are being requested.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: that a meeting of the Planning Board of the Town of Caroga was held on December 5, 2018

The Site Plan Review in the above matter was ALLOWED and the Application GRANTED provided that the stairs on the front deck are moved such that they are within the current footprint of the structure less the aforementioned stairs. That is, take the stairs — turn them 90 degrees. Embed them entirely within the area of the deck and don’t extend past the foundation, thereby actually lessening the encroachment in the roadway right-of-way.
