Town of Caroga Planning Board Decision Notice

Date: July 27, 2021

A Public Hearing before the Planning Board of the Town of Caroga was held on May 20 and July 7, and completed on July 27, 2021 to consider application P2021-05 by Caroga Arts Collective, Inc., PO Box 1048, Caroga Lake NY 12095, for the property located at 1989 State Highway 10 in the Town of Caroga and identified as parcels 68.17-2-1 and 68.17-2-2 in Caroga Hamlet zoning district, APA Hamlet land use area classification, for a Site Plan Review. The application was granted subject to the following stipulations:

Phase one of the project was granted and phases two and three are to be reviewed again in the future;
Parcels 68.17-2-1 and 68.17-2-2 are to be merged;
All aspects of all the roads, including future phases, are to meet NY Fire Code § 503 in terms of load bearing capacity, height, and width.

Final approval contingent on review by the Adirondack Park Agency, § 239-m review by Fulton County Planning Board, and possibly review other agencies. Permits by Caroga Code Enforcement required.
