On February 27, 2024, Highway Superintendent Voght set a seasonal 5 ton maximum weight limit on all town roads. This remains in effect until further notice.
The Caroga Town Board has passed resolutions authorizing borrowing up to $1,557,000.00 for three projects and this borrowing subject to permissive referendum. Three petitions were presented to the Town Board.

New Building Permit Fees effective April 1, 2022
Permits are now required to dump stumps and yard waste at the Caroga Stump Dump. Fees are $10.00 per year for property owners and $200.00 per year for commercial users. All materials must be generated in the Town of Caroga; no out-of-town debris allowed. Contact Linda Gilbert for permits and Larry Voght for stump dump appointments.
Garbage pickup: Mondays — South end.
Tuesdays — North end.
The dividing line is Mead Creek.
